Grooming

Grooming can be a traumatic experience for dogs. Most dogs don't like baths, or going to the groomer. At Paws, we believe that doesn't have to be the case! We want your dog to have a positive, even relaxing grooming experience. To ensure this happens, we let the dogs set the pace. If a dog is getting stressed out, we let them take breaks.  When you drop your dog off for grooming there is no set pick up time. We will text you when your dog is ready, and then you can come pick up. However, this can mean your dog might take longer than expected if he/she is stressed out, or if the dog before your dog took longer. Please be patient, and know we are working to make sure every dog has a great time getting groomed!

I believe in a natural approach to grooming, so we groom with a line of all natural shampoos to prevent skin irritation and keep the chemicals away from your fur baby! We also offer oatmeal, aloe, and de-shed baths. Our shampoos are soap free, cruelty free and 100% biodegradable.

After grooming, your dog will be sent home with a report card and homemade treats!

Pricing

Below is a chart to give estimates of how we determine pricing for grooming.  We strive to offer a price that's fair to the groomer for amount of time and effort it takes to groom each dog, and a price thats fair to the customer and allows owners to affordably care for their dogs. Please keep in mind some small dogs are very challenging to groom, with tiny faces and small areas to work in. Large dogs take a lot more time to bathe and blow dry. Some dogs need a little extra help when getting nails trimmed or ears plucked.  There are a lot of variables in determining price and time it takes for a grooming service!

The prices below are starting points for dogs who are on an every 4-8 week grooming schedule and who are in good condition. Final price is determined by condition of the dogs coat, behavior, cost of shampoo and supplies. Examples of breeds in each category is not exhaustive, just provided to help determine which category your dog falls into based on type of fur and haircut needs. Some dogs could fall into both an outline and haircut category depending on owner preference. Some people may choose a full haircut for a pomeranian, some may choose just an outline trim. For specific questions on your dog please email!

Remember, this chart is provided to give estimates and offer transparency in how we determine price. It is not meant to be a final price guarantee.
